Our late
season hunting is very popular each year! The tremendous
pheasant numbers in each area, coupled with the pheasant
habitat AAA South Dakota Pheasant Hunting manages
and maintains specifically for our December hunting
guests, it is not uncommon to see several hundred
wild pheasant’s each day!
Beginning December 1st through January 2nd, AAA South
Dakota Pheasant Hunting offer’s a late season hunt
that is equal to early season success, and bird numbers!
December hunting is extremely action packed! While
these late season wild pheasants can be more challenging
to hunt, limits are far from rare while hunting with
us!
With crops around AAA South Dakota Pheasant Hunting being harvested, the large concentrations of those pheasant’s migrate into our fields, (we do not harvest our food plot areas); consequently we see our numbers actually rise during this late season period! Our fields are managed and maintained with food plots in CRP and switch grass areas, which makes for terrific winter habitat. During the cooler weather, pheasant’s tend to bunch together in larger groups, utilizing our food plots and habitat areas as their daily food source, and winter survival.

Hunting, (while other South Dakota hunting lodges
have closed for the season), our clients are consistently
filling their daily limits during they stay with
us!

While we do schedule hunting through the end of December, please call or e-mail our staff for available dates. Many of our return guests reserve a second group hunt during the same season.
Missouri River goose hunting is available during late November through December.
Goose hunting
is scheduled as a full day of hunting, not combined
with our pheasant hunting. This allows your group an
entire day of goose hunting!
